Thomas B Day was diagnosed with Broca’s Aphasia and Apraxia
following a stroke in 2009. He also has
a right side hemiparesis with use of his right arm and hand.
Over time, Tom began to teach himself to paint with his
non-dominant left hand.
He stays home where he has set up his studio and
participates in the Art-in-Health Program at University of South Florida.
Tom paints using oils, watercolor, charcoal and speedball on
canvas.
