About the Artist

Thomas B Day was diagnosed with Broca’s Aphasia and Apraxia following a stroke in 2009.  He also has a right side hemiparesis with use of his right arm and hand.

Over time, Tom began to teach himself to paint with his non-dominant left hand.

He stays home where he has set up his studio and participates in the Art-in-Health Program at University of South Florida.

Tom paints using oils, watercolor, charcoal and speedball on canvas.
